Buddha said, "We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we believe." Unfortunately, our thoughts aren't always realistic or helpful. They can become clouded with shame, guilt, and negativity. If your thoughts aren't feeling so great, just start by asking yourself if they're realistic or helpful. When you have a thought that isn't realistic or helpful, try replacing it with something that is still believable but more beneficial. ⠀

Example thought: "I'm not good enough."⠀

Is it realistic? Nope.⠀

Is it helpful? Definitely not.⠀

Replacement thought: "I'm doing my best and taking it one step at a time."
